Important Update: Discontinuation of 33 Finance American Express Prepaid Cards

Dear Valued Client,
This notice informs you of the upcoming discontinuation of the 33 Finance American Express Gift Card and Personal Prepaid Card programs effective 05 Nov 2026. We extend our sincere gratitude for your patronage over the years and are committed to managing a seamless transition for all cardholders.
Please take note of the following important dates:
· 06 Aug 2026: Last day to add funds (top-up) to your Personal Prepaid Card.
· 04 Nov 2026: Final day for all card-related transactions.
We encourage you to utilize any remaining balance on your card by 04 Nov 2026. Any dispute to the transaction paid with your card must be raised to us within 120 days after the transaction date to ensure timely processing of your dispute request.
Upon the issuance of this Notice, you may visit our office in person with your card and valid identification documents, and choose one of the following redemption options:
1. Cheque Redemption: Receive the balance via HKD cheque.
2. Bank Transfer: Provide your same-name bank account details to receive a direct transfer.
Please note the following fee arrangement:
• Upon the issuance of this Notice, the following fees and charges will be waived when processing your balance redemption:
Card Redemption Fee | HKD80 | |
Card Management Fee | HKD10 per month | |
Dormant Account Management Fee (no activity for 6 months, fee will be collected from the 7th month) | HKD10 per month |
Other fees and charges as listed in the “Fees and Charges” section for 33 Finance American Express Gift Card and Personal Prepaid Card on 33 Finance’s website remain applicable. For further details, please refer to https://www.33finance.com/terms-conditions-fees-charges
• If the redemption remains unprocessed after the expiry date while there is remaining balance on your card, a monthly Expired Card Management Fee of 10% of the remaining balance (minimum HKD 80) will be imposed in accordance with the Fees and Charges on 33 Finance’s website. This fee will be automatically deducted from the card balance on a monthly basis.
